That question got me thinking really hard. I was present in the nursing home when my father was writhing in pain. He was admitted for a heart attack. The heart specialist was not available. A gynecologist was the only doctor there and she came to my father's room and read his notes. She said that the heart doctor asked her to do so. She then said that she will give him an injection and it will ease his pain. She did so and five minutes after he died. To this day I wonder if that injection killed him.
