Not really a thriller. It's mostly about FBI undercover agents having a love/hate relationship. There is no mystery to uncover. The main characters are just thrown into this situation where they finally have to confront their feelings, and that situation just happens to be a part-time undercover op. But that's mainly the backdrop of the story and isn't really what the book is about. Some of the other books in the series are more thriller-like, but not this one.
