What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

H. David Blalock That's an odd question. A mystery in my own life? I suppose the biggest mystery in my life would be why I became a writer instead of something more useful to society. I'm joking, of course. Writers are useful, even critical, for society. Who else would safeguard history, document the human condition, or inspire the youth through vision? I believe the biggest mystery in anyone's life would have to be: What made you who you are?
