Do any of the people here think that this type of literature is easier to write and more difficult to read? I find that sometimes people would not be able to notice whether the narrator is speaking or the characters are having a conversation, the book itself is amazing and I would never stop anyone from not reading it. But this small problem, just lets us appreciate the fact the authors take the time to add the ''s.

Anjelicakulani Yes. I found it difficult at first but then, as I figured out her storytelling method, I changed my reading technique and was able to delve deeper into the storyline. Great book.

Ying The conversations without quotation marks are the conversations had happened in the past. The conversations with the quotation marks are happening in present. At least that's how I see them as.
Tonantzin Moya Lol. It is true! I also loved the story, it is terrific, but for me, a non native English speaker, the author style is a little difficult. Had the same issue with other novels from M.A. but it did not make me difficult to enjoy the story

David Meditationseed Yes! I found the author style sometimes confused, many comas, many emotional descriptions, however it's also great to this media (a book). Also for that, and for others points I prefer read the book instead see the TV Serie.
JenBsBooks Is the non-use of quotation marks a type of literature? I noticed it right away, and while I was still able read it without much issue, it did really stand out to me. Then ... suddenly, there WERE quotation marks (then not, then again, then not). I really tried to determine a pattern, but couldn't. I'd really love some insight if anyone had it!
