The first book of yours that I ever read was The Hunger, and I've been a fan of yours ever since. I'm intrigued by your Alien Hunter series, so I hope to win a copy on Goodreads! How much of your own experiences went into these books?

In part, what I'm trying to do with the fiction is to see if things that are stuck in my unconscious might make an appearance in a novel. This happened a good deal with the Grays and, I think, with Hybrids. It happened ot a lesser extent with the first Alien Hunter, but with the new one, suddenly toward the end of the book something rather stunning emerged, and I was left thinking that there might be an extraordinary means of communication with another universe hidden beneath our feet.
