What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Kit Crumpton The mystery of life and subtle influences. Do we create our own destiny? Yes and no. We are born into circumstances. Some are observable and some not so easily. I like to ferret out the "not so easily seen" powers that move us; DNA, chemistry, personal belief systems, faith, culture, societal belief systems, some that are embraced and some discarded. These things make up characters. My first book, the main character is based on my dad who was a B-29 pilot in WWII. My second book is based on my uncle who lived a short life in the early 20th century. I share my view of my family which evolves over time with research and writing. If I do it right I also touch the empathy of my reader so that they ponder too.
