Nancy Degenhardt When I was working in an antique shop, an older Spanish woman with a young man came into the shop. While she asked me to go to the back of the shop to get something off a shelf for her, the man stole my purse from underneath the counter. I was working alone in a rather large shop. I called the police of course, but I never got my purse back and had to change all of my credit cards and freeze my credit on the credit reporting companies. I was mainly concerned with the theft of my identity.
