What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Nancy Fraser Years ago on my drive home from work I was stopped at a red light late at night. A man stepped in front of my car. I was worried he was going to carjack me or, worse, take out a gun and shoot me. Mentally, I was prepared to run him down. He stuck his hands in his pockets and whipped open his coat to reveal he was stark naked beneath! That incident of "possible" danger was the opening for the very first book I ever sold. COURTING TROUBLE is no longer available (it's over 20 yrs old), but can be found in used bookstores. I'll also be excerpting it through my blog over the summer.
