Is this ok for a 12(almost 13) year old? I have read many YA books so I was wondering, if it was good or no good. Thx

At your age, I would have enjoyed this story and its realistic (and relatively mature) treatment of a developing teen romance. When I was 10, most of my classmates and I were devouring Christopher Pike's pulpy thriller books one by one, and those books contain casual sex with strangers as well as dangerous/glamorized drug use. This book, Alex Approximately, is mature, authentic about such situations, and vague enough -- I think Bailey and her friends are decent role models.(less)
