What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Olga Núñez Miret I'm not sure there are a lot of mysteries that would work as a plot for a book (I worked as a psychiatrist and I experienced my share of strange events and fascinating characters, but I cannot talk about those in detail) but there are fascinating family mysteries, as two of my mother's uncles escaped Spain during the Civil War and went to France where they fought for the French Resistance.
I do write mysteries where the main character is a female psychiatrist (Escaping Psychiatry series), but they are my own invention (more or less!)
