Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Traci Andrighetti AMARETTO AMBER, which is the third Franki Amato mystery, is about a murder at a New Orleans strip club. I got the idea for the book when I had to use the restroom in a Bourbon Street strip club one morning before it opened. The bathroom turned out to be the girls' dressing room, and the toilet was right out in the open (no stall!). I watched in fascination as nude and half-dressed women attacked a bucket of friend chicken that a male employee brought in. And I decided to write a book based on that scene.
