I am just finishing The House On Tradd (#1). WOW! Awesome book! I can hardly wait to get my hands on the second one! Where do you draw your inspiration for this series?

I wish I knew as I'd go there to mine the well again and again! All I remember is taking a shower one day and the character of Melanie Middleton basically slapped me upside the head. She was fully formed (ghost-seeing abilities and all) and I just created the rest of the characters and the story from her.

This is not so much as a question? , but a compliment. My first experience was Sound of Glass that was given to me by my cousin. Loved it. Have read 8 more of your books since then. I am hooked. Written with so many layers and fantastic story lines! You have spoiled me and I'm finding my other favorite Authors do not compare. I've tried to mix in some other books and find them boring and predictable. LOVE YOU!

Hi Karen, cannot wait to read The House on Tradd Street! I'm writing a debut (historical) series that has a ghost element. My question is, how did you decide who can see the ghost? In my MS, everyone can see her, but she only communicates with a clairvoyant. My writer's group was confused by this. Do you think she should only been seen by a few? Or all who work in the hotel? Thanks so much!
