What gave you the inspiration to write The Last Girl? And did you have any big challenges you needed to overcome while writing it, if so how did you face them?

Hi Abby, the inspiration for the story came from a "what if?" question. What if female birth rates plummeted? What would be the fallout and what would the world look like in the future? The real challenges were getting the characters into such a bad situation I had to get very creative in getting the out. But of course, that's half the fun of writing! Thanks for the question!

No question either? - just another compliment! Just finished 'The Last Girl' and I loved it! I look forward to the 2nd in the series. You drew some very interesting characters and did it so well - often in books secondary characters are murky at best, not here. Each one stood out on their own. Bravo!
