Any dream casting for this story you'd be willing to share? Dead or alive, whatever. I can't imagine I'm alone in picturing Will as Will Arnett (but, like, serious); Armondo is Michael Pena (Ant-Man's buddy); Wu is a random criminal from an episode of The Shield; Budd was David Koechner; Molech was a less hilarious Carrtottop. So who are yours? Especially Zoe, but ESPECIALLY Andre.

I used to answer this question (and may have here) before we actually sold the TV rights, now I'm afraid it'll seem like I'm arguing with the casting people from afar. Also if they cast somebody who's a very different type it will be awkward if/when I wind up meeting them in person. Those are good choices though.

Yo, so I was wondering how you research for the books you're writing? Does it come from already existing knowledge or do you research as you go along? Wew. Also, JDatE was seriously life changing. I don't know what it is about it but it changed my perspective on a lot of things. I use brute force to get everyone I meet (including my mum) to read it and when they do, they love it just as much (also including my mum) <3

I have followed you through your whole literary journey (at least that I know of), since the 2007 paperback release of JDATE (love the acronym). I watched you evolve as an writer from having a rough "punk edge" to being more polished and skilled, to being more mature and polished but having that edge back, at least from my experience. How did you experience that Journey?
