Maggie Stiefvater Hi! I reckon you'd probably enjoy HUNTED the best of all my books, if you're nine. It's the second book in the Spirit Animal series, which is a multi-platform, multi-author series about fantastic animals. That's really just a fancy way of saying that the series is written by a bunch of different authors (the first book, for instance, is by Brandon Mull, and the third is by Garth Nix & Sean Williams), and that the book also has an online game. I agreed to write a book in the series because my kids are nine and ten years old and I wanted to write a book for their age group. I figured if I did, I would become a hero in their school and other students would shout ALL HAIL MAGGIE STIEFVATER when I dropped them off for school.
