Hi Paulie,
I always listen to music when I'm writing, but I listen to the same ten or fifteen songs over and over and over on a constant loop. I don't even hear them anymore but my brain knows that when those songs start it's time to write. It's a really weird mix of songs and artists: Billy Joel, Kodaline, Snow Patrol, Rod Stewart, Imagine Dragons. It's bizarre, but it works for me! Thanks for the question.

Have you ever thought of writing a story in the same world of The Book of Ivy with other characters in order to explore some other ways of surviving after an apocalypse ? I remember that in book 1 or 2, there's a mention of places where different governments were in place etc. It would be interesting to have another point of view !
