I have a friend who spent a year in Scotland while her father was on a Presbyterian minister exchange. Which of your books do you recommend for a history buff who has lived in Scotland?

Glynnis Campbell Probably my best book for history buffs is MacAdam's Lass, which covers the topic of golf in its heyday in Scotland in the 16th century. Mary Queen of Scots has a guest role, the hero is an expert golfer, and it's interesting to see how different the game was back then.
