Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

M. David White There really was no one thing that gave me the idea for The Record of the Saints Caliber. I had been tinkering with the notion of a warrior class known as the Saints Caliber, and the idea of Star Armor had been born from a previous book I was writing. The monstrous kings that rule the world were also products of other books I had been toying with, but never wrote. It just kind of happened that all the ideas came together as one for this book.
