What is your favourite genre of books to read for recreation? Are you a historical romance junkie in your personal reading, as well as when you write?

I actually don't read that much romance, because when I read, I like to get away from my work. I do read my friends' books and some favorite authors, but most often I read in random genres--thrillers, how-to books, women's fiction, murder mysteries, theoretical science. I enjoy variety.
