Whoops all your Hagenhiems wound up in my to-read list. I'm so excited to have discovered these! I saw The Golden Braid one when my friend entered your contest thingy! (Rapunzel was my favorite growing up!) What made you decide the world needed these books?

Hi, Helen! I just really enjoy fairy tales and rewriting them with my own twists and tweaks. I'm not sure I wrote them with the needs of the world uppermost in my mind. Haha! But I do try to write encouraging, uplifting, romantic stories for teen girls (and older!) to enjoy while giving them some truths to chew on. For instance, in my first book, The Healer's Apprentice, I hoped to show what to look for in a guy, and what to avoid, in order to find true love.

Hi Melanie, I have officially read all your books and have loved every single one of them. I am eagerly awaiting your Mulan story. How many more book do you think will be in the Hagenheim series? And do you plan for more series after that like your Regency Spies of London series or your Medieval Fairytale series? I don't normally love period pieces but yours it seems I can't get enough of.
