At the end of The Uncovered Policeman - Caribbean Blues you leave a conversation open, does this mean that you are writing a follow up?

I have a couple of different stories in development and one of them (a non Rags to Riches story) is about half written.
There is a story I am slowly writing scenes and dialogue for which will be the follow on to Caribbean Blues. Bea keeps whispering bits of the story in my ear, but it tends to be when I'm doing other things! In addition there is at least one short story in Rags to Riches world that Rags has given me.
I expect there are tales from the rest of the extended Adiscombe/Johnston families to tell.
