I just finished the entire Paper Magician series, Magic Bitter Magic Sweet, and Followed by Frost (my favorite) since the new year. Followed by Frost was my favorite by far. I read somewhere that you studied under Brandon Sanderson, who creates the most in depth worlds so it is no wonder I loved all of yours so much. What was it like studying under him? I have so many questions!

Wow, you've been busy! Thank you for reading them! (FBF is my favorite, too!) And yes; I took Brandon's writing class at BYU twice. He's a well of knowledge for sure. Very patient (you have to be if I'm one of your students!), resourceful, and smart. I very much enjoyed studying under him. He gave useful feedback and was always open to students' questions (and could always be bribed with MtG cards or candy). ;)

Dear Charlie, what an extraordinary series the Paper Magician trilogy is! What a delight to read! Anne of Green Gables meets Daddy Longlegs, meets Howl's Moving Castle. Thrilling stuff! One question about Paper Magician, please: Ceony has a flashback, "...she remembered the car crash, smelled burning onion as Mrs. Appleton had screamed at her after spilling that wine." What does the crash bit refer to? Thanks! -Kara
