First published in 1987...is this book still relevant or would I be better reading something more up to date? Thanks.

J_BlueFlower Yes, the new revised version has an appendix that talks about the detection of gravitational wave in 2016. There is nothing incorrect in the 1987-version, only the book does not contain the stuff that is known now, that was not at the time. The fundamental questions - that the book is most known for - are still the same.
Kenny I think it's still very relevant. Stephen doesn't try to pretend he knows everything; he solely relies on the scientific method and reasonable thinking. In fact, he actually is smart enough to know that there's still so much to be discovered in physics.
