Leanne asked:

Anyone else reminded of Kaz Brekker (Six of Crows) when they revealed the names of Mare's Arven guards? Egg and Trio's actual names were Caz and Brecker (Kaz Brekker is that you!)

Jessie YES! I was listening to this one on audiobook and did a pause/rewind when I heard the names (since there's not even the different spelling to throw you off the scent when you're listening to it). If anything, though, I'm disappointed. Kaz could wipe the floor with the Arven guards.
This cat I believe Victoria Aveyard and Leigh Bardugo are friends, so that might answer your question. (I noticed it too!)
Nora My gods yes! Victoria Aveyard definitely named them after our favourite criminal mastermind!
Samia Tasnim It's an Easter egg. During promotions, Victoria Aveyard said that the book would be full of them. I actually met Leigh Bardugo a few months ago and asked her about it and she confirmed that they were friends and the mention wasn't an accident.
Chiara Marsh I actually took a picture of that page! Crazy
We love kaz Brekker our favorite criminal
Alexia Hutsell I had to reread that part because of that.
