What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Sara Winters Don't give up. Even when it's hard. Especially when it's hard. It's never easy. There are writers who have been doing it for decades who still struggle to get the words on the page just right. At the end of the day, it's worth it. All the rewriting and insecurity and angst boils down to one thing - you created something amazing and unique. There is no better high than a job well done. No greater satisfaction than sitting back one day and looking at what all your hard work has wrought. Work, every chance you get, for that feeling.
