Jay Smith A mild, yet effective laxative and a reminder that writing is just like any job and there is a work product involved. If I can't sit for 8 hours at my day job and produce nothing, I sure as hell cannot waste a day pondering the depths of my belly button pretending the muses have abandoned me. If the story isn't working, there's research to do. If not that, there's plotting, re-reading, new reading, and other related tasks to perform.
