I'm reading Torn and sort frustrated wondering if I missed something or started in the middle of a story somehow. The mother/wife who is just gone with no clue as to why is really taking away from the experience. I re-read the Ashes & Embers books again to see what I may have missed but it just isn't there. Where did I miss this piece of info?

As I'm reading, though, this song keeps popping into my head..."Someone You Loved" by Lewis Capaldi. Have you ever heard that song? Am I crazy, or could that be Asher and Ember's theme song? Hi Carian! Just wanted to say first off that your books are OFF THE CHARTS! Omg! I can't even put into words how much I love each character! I just wanted to ask you. Will there be a story about Finn? if so I would love to know his story, he's my fave mystery guy and even though he seems to be a pain in the butt. I think he has a story to tell. Once again, your books ROCK! :)
