Zoë Ann Book Queen
Zoë Ann Book Queen asked K.M. Shea:

As the author how involved are you in the creation of covers for your books? Do the designers actually read it or do they just get a rundown of the plot?

K.M. Shea I'm what's called an indie author, so I have a lot of control over my covers but I've found it's best to leave the design up to the pros! My cover-artist reads all my stuff before its released, and she usually has an idea of what she wants the cover to look like, though she does check with me to make sure I'm happy with it as well.
