Goodreads asked V.M. Devine:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

V.M. Devine Mike's Response: Manifold I guess. For the Fiction that I am engaged with, it is the experience and the excitement of creativity. For the Non-Fiction (theology) it is the sense of awe and wonder in the process of discovery. Feynman said about theoretical physics that if he found himself unable to teach on an aspect (and yes, that did happen to the genius Richard Feynman) it showed him that he had not fully understood it himself. I find in the process of writing theology that I discover depths of understanding which I had missed during the studying/reading phase.
