?I just finished From Sand and Ash. It came by UPS at 6pm and I finished it at about 11:15 the same night. The kids ate cereal, I held my bladder and I'm pretty sure I said "sure sweetie whatever you need" when my oldest asked for an Iphone 7. The book was exceptional and nothing short of being set on fire could have made me stop early. I exaggerate (a little), but seriously... Standing ovation. 100%.

Thank you for your message (it made me laugh) and for reading a book that isn't the most comfortable of reads. I am more proud of From Sand and Ash than any book I've written. It means a great deal to me and I'm so glad you loved it.

I have just discovered your writing, with A Girl Called Samson. Up until the romance begins, this would be an excellent YA book. Would you consider writing a more suitable version for kids? I would love to see it added to school reading lists. It would be a fabulous way to get kids interested in history.
