Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kim Golden Maybe Baby came about as a result of a conversation I had with a friend who was thinking about going to a fertility clinic. She wanted to have a baby but she was single and said she wished going to a fertility clinic was a bit like speed-dating. That conversation led to Laney's story. I started doing research into sperm banks and fertility clinics and found one where you could see videos of prospective donors. And then I decided to write about one where you could actually meet the donors, and that's how I came up with Mads.
