Jacqueline Winspear Hello Catherine, Thank you for your comment and question. What I look for in a mystery is what I want to see in any work of fiction, and that is good, honest character development reflecting the time and place.

I am so glad that you are continuing the Maisie Dobbs series of books......I know there was a pause a few years ago......but I am continuing to enjoy her stories. Do you have more plans for Maisie in the future? Is this decision dictated by the stories that you want to tell or is it driven by a publisher's contract with you or a combination? Thanks for keeping Maisie in our lives!
