Some people (like myself) have been sent early proof copies to read and review as well. I received mine back in Feb, though it's not due for release in the UK until Sept.

I got my copy from Netgalley.com to read and make an advance review. All perfectly legit as it comes from the publisher.

Some people review in excitement based on earlier books assuming that they will like the newest one.... Some could be earlier reviewers.

Me! Loved the book. As good as the first two in the series! Enjoy!

My brother mailed me an advanced copy, and I'm currently going through it. It's pretty good, and btw, nice hat.

I read it on a Kindle I recently purchased. To me it was one of Follett’s best. Since I am a history buff I have read a little about this time, and found the book excellent and a page turner I could not put down.

I see over 300 reviews before the actual publication date. To YOUR QUESTION, Matthew, maybe 10% or so. Five stars for a free book? We know what that's called. And five stars for a book that pretty much s***s anyway? Pitiful.
