NPR had a good interview with the author of this book. It sounds very interesting and I like the idea of a modern discussion of immigration. Has anyone read this yet?

It does give the reader all sorts of feelings about Eitan and SirKit. Are they good people? I changed my mind several times about the characters as the book progressed. I think the author's translator from Hebrew to English wrote very well. The book remains in my mind even today.
