We will meet a character from another Maisie book in your new book In This Grave Hour. Did you have plans to write In This Grave Hour when you wrote the Maisie book about Maisie teaching about peace at University ? I am not sure how to phrase my question.

Jacqueline Winspear Diana, IN THIS GRAVE HOUR was planned long ago, and in most of the books you see characters from past books - whether the usual cadre of continuing characters, or characters such as Robbie MacFarlane or Dr. Francesca Thomas. In JOURNEY TO MUNICH, John Otterburn was another character brought back from another story - I wasn't quite finished with him! There are others who will appear again in the future.
