Goodreads asked Roland Odinkemelu:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Roland Odinkemelu When you write you draw upon a wealth of knowledge emanating from past experiences, some you lived, and some learned. The combination of the two and your ability to draw upon your creative imagination produces the script you'd review, correct and rewrite. I think the best thing about being a writer is knowing that you have discovered a part of yourself you never quite knew. The more you write, the more you discover that person and master how he/she likes to tell their story. That would later become the writer's style of writing.
