I am wondering if you will try getting Eragon the movie remade at any point? I absolutely ADORE the inheritance cycle, and if it is done right I know that it would be a huge hit at the box office!! Inheritance cycle is my forever favorite!! I still have not found a book that can beat it!
Christopher Paolini
Like you, I would love to see the Inheritance Cycle rebooted on the big or small screen! The rights to do so are owned by 20th Century Fox and, unfortunately, they don't currently have plans to make another Eragon movie. If and when that changes, I'll definitely let everyone know. In the meantime, you can write an email requesting another Eragon movie or television show, address it to Fox’s new CEO/chairman Stacey Snider, and send it to eragon.reboot@gmail.com. Every fan’s voice counts!

I'm really interested in reading Gene Wolfe's work. I've heard people call his prose beautiful, but I've also heard the words "archaic" and "sexist" thrown around. I read your review of "Shadow and Claw," which is where I aim to start, and I was wondering what your take on these critiques is. Nonsense? Unfortunate reality? (I'm a Lovecraft fan, so I'm experienced with having to look past problematic author traits.)

I have read the Inheritance Cycle about 4 times and I always find myself fascinated by Angela and wanting to know more. One thing I have always wanted is a trilogy dedicated to telling the story of Angela. I'm wondering what would be required to convince you to do so???? (I'm kidding. Sort of.)

I'm sure you've been asked this before, countless times; but what compelled you to begin writing Eragon? Also, I must thank you for having introduced me to "real" (fervent, as opposed to forced) reading all those years (a.k.a. around 5 years) ago. I feel as if thought I might be forever in your debt. :D
