Hi Craig, I've loved all the Daniel Faust novels. My favorite character is Caitlin. What influenced you to write her character?
Craig Schaefer
Thank you! Starting from an idea of a modernized, almost corporate vision of hell, it raised the question of what a woman who had clawed her way from nothing to the peak of her career would look like in that system. Caitlin is very much a small-town girl who worked her way to the top (and still has to deal with people who think she found a shortcut, after putting in endless blood, sweat and tears to earn what she has).
I'm also very interested, as a storyteller, in themes of duty, service and devotion. Caitlin is absolutely devoted to her prince, her people, and hell's cause. Which, when that cause conflicts with her human friends and allies, sets the stage for all kinds of fun problems. :)

I've just finished reading 'The Loot' (took me the best part of two days!) and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved everything about it especially Charlie and I was hooked from the first pages. Please tell me that there are going to be more adventures for Charlie and the gang?

I am half finished with Daniel Faust book one audible book and stopped to buy the rest of the books and the discounted audible books with the books. Book four doesn't have that option. I was wondering if that was something just overlooked? I hate to buy the full price for the book and the audible and I don't want to just but one! I share my account with my family of five and some like audible and some ebooks. Thks
