Goodreads asked Michael P. Naughton:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Michael P. Naughton There is no budget. You dream as big as you want to and are only limited by your imagination. If Hollywood buys your book, you let them worry about how they're going to pay for what you wrote. In your books you are producer, director, writer, actor. You are in total control. Also, you get to write what you'd like to see. How many times have you been to a movie or read a book and been inspired to write something unique... maybe even better. I always write with the movie in my mind like Elmore Leonard, Stephen King etc.
