What do you use for bookmarks?
- I pick up anything in my immediate area and stuff it in my book: envelopes, credit cards, postcards, lottery tickets, post-its, receits, spoons, ocasionally forks... should I go on?
- I have an exquisite collection of bookmarks. So I pick and choose according to the mood.
- There's this one, ultimate queen of bookmarks. I use her.
- I don't use any of those. I'm a cyborg and I always memorize the page I'm on.
- I dog ear pages. I'm nasty like that and I couldn't care less.

Post it notes are the best. They hold the page and the specific line I'm on!

My lovely library gives out free bookmarks right at the checkout desk so I've got quite a collection going.
"I have an exquisite collection of bookmarks. So I pick and choose according to the mood." That being said, if none of these exquisite bookmarks is near enough to reach when I have to stop reading, I will "pick up anything in my immediate area and stuff it in my book: envelopes, credit cards, postcards, lottery tickets, post-its, receipts, spoons, ocasionally forks... should I go on?" :)

LOL
lol... yeah, I have a lot of bookmarks sent free from Night Owl romance, all with ads for books on them, of course, and Kate Douglas sent me bookmarks for each of her books, which I just keep in the book it matches for when I reread them, plus the nifty ones I've bought over the years because I couldn't resist. And then there's the newest gem! I won a SSVD Bookthong made just for the MB series, from Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed forum in a contest, and it's gorgeous! They use the midnight breed breedmate symbol to make the bookmark, a teardrop crystal on one end and a crescent moon crystal on the other. It's this one here: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?... It's even shinier and prettier in person than in the pic, so I'm happy. :) I'm reading an ebook now though, so I haven't had a chance to use it yet! *sigh* :D
hymmm yeah, Murrrmaiyd, that's a beauty indeed. I adore bookmarks, each of them is unique. But the thing is that I'm a clutz. Whenever, I get my hands on one what I especially like, whenever I grow used to one, I immediately manage to lose it. So a while ago I just gave up. No more bookmarks for me. I cannot stand the constant heartache. I usually have a spoon handy, cause I drink a lot of tea. So spoon is my choice of preference.

I mostly dog ear, but I've also been known to grab whatever's close (the receipt from the library is great!)I also sometimes memorize the page I'm on. Very cyborg-like of me... :)

OK this one is kinda hard because I do all the above except dog ear the pages so I'm not sure how to answer LOL
I use my bus tickets - that way, if a bus ticket inspector shows up (which they do!) it's right there... otherwise, yes, envelopes, notes, bits of paper...
I just flick through looking for the last bit I remember reading.I haven't dog-eared a book since I was seven. In that year (when we started using the school library?) my teacher got our class all to sign a pledge (and get two of our classmates to witness it!) that we would not turn down the corner of a page or leave an open book face-down to mark our place, and that we would only turn pages from the middle, not at the top or the bottom. I haven't done either of the first two since! Train 'em young...

I use book thongs most often times. I was given my first one by a friend or was catering to my love for shoes. I've been using them every since. I've even starting making them to give to friends.
