Arrika Arrachne very cool, altered carbon would have been my choice if I hadn't been hopeful to finally have people to share Roadside Picnic with. Every time i pull RP off the bookshelf and begin to describe it to a friend my husband looks at me quizzically and rushes to rescue my captive audience out of harms way.

Erik Redin Man, we can't even be trusted to vote in a poll correctly. It's hardly a butterfly ballot, people. Bright side, at least there were no accidental votes for Pat Buchanan...

In conclusion, this is why we can't have nice things.

Roadside Picnic is incredible! If a little depressing at times.

Nice! Just picked it up for $1 at a Friends of the San Francisco Library sale a weekend ago - perfect timing.

AndrewP Great. As I read it not that long ago I can participate in the discussion AND read Words of Radiance.
