It's definitely between John Green and J.K Rowling for me... but I don't think I can, I mean HP was awesome, but I feel like I should vote for my favorite authors who are NOT Rowling since thats a no-brainer...

I love Marie Lu's writing style the most but if I didn't have John Green in my life I don't know what would be of my life.

It's hard to determine who's better when you haven't read from those authors. I just voted my favorite: Suzanne Collins. But I'm sure that if I've read books from the others, it would be hard to choose who is really better.

It was hard to chose between J.K. Rowling and Rick Riordan! I like how Rick adds humor to his writing and funny descriptions but I love the details and darkness in the Harry Potter series. So I picked J.K. Rowling

I picked Rick Riordan in the end! I just love his humor and cliffhangers (Hate them at the same time) J.K. Rowling is second.

....J.K Rowling is the only one out of all these authors who I feel deserves the hype around her books. She can actually write...and yes I've read all the authors here except Jay Asher and David Levithan.

Now that is a very unfair poll. That's like coming up to a mother with 5 kids and saying, "tell me which one is your favorite, while they are all standing here listening. And no, you can't say I love all of them, just one."

Is it sad I know every author on than except Davit Levithan. I love nearly all of them. sooo hard.

I'd like to make note that in answering "J.K. Rowling," I'm referring to Rowling's writings as Robert Galbraith. Definitely best of the list!

J.K.R. will always be my favorite author, but it is hard to vote, since most of the others are really good too.

I almost answered differently because my favorite author and my favorite book and the best author are completely different things.

My favorite book from one of the authors could be the harry potter series or even the hunger games

My favorite author might be J.K Rowling or sarah dessen but whom I believe the best author is a completely different thing in all.

I voted for Sarah Dessen because I love every book she's ever written! but now I feel bad like somehow John Green is going to find and not think I love him any more. :( I still love you john!
