The film presents abundant evidence that Church's and Oh’s characters have passionate feelings for each other. Well, it would be much better if you had seen it. If you haven't, it is a brilliant comedy that made both Thomas Hadden Church and Paul Giamatti into major stars pretty much overnight. It got an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay which it totally deserved. And it's even a date movie of a rather unusual kind!
