Sara I'll Watch the Moon is one of my favorite all-time books.

Cheryl Olson Me too Sara!

Natalie @Cheryl: Shouldn't we read the Heritage of Lancaster Continuity series and the first three Home To Hickory Hollow books first, since The Secret Keeper is the fourth in the series? This is harder for me because I haven't read any of these books at the moment.

Cheryl Olson Thanks for your observations Natalie- I did note that a lot of folks had read it as a standalone and said it was fine to read without reading the others.

I got the impression that the books in this series are designed to be read as standalones. It's completely unlike Beverly Lewis's other books, which are all series. I've read two books from this series and I don't remember them actually having any links, besides a couple of secondary characters who reappeared.

This was a pretty hard poll--several of the books were on my wishlist, but I was good and voted for the one I actually owned ;)
