I agree Garrett. It would be very eye opening. I think it would be great to learn and discuss. The author was let into this country which is very shut off from the rest of the world, and even though it is fiction it is a well researched book.
I agree too! It's a very timely subject. Not to mention that it was also the winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction this year. It's been on my TBR list all year.
I have half of them on my TBR already. :) We'll see if one of them wins. I agree though, they all sound great.
I've not heard of any of these titles...I often go by the cover of the book without looking inside it!
New here so a quick hi all. I Read The Orphan Master's Son earlier this year and it is wonderful book and deserving of it Pulitzer.
I know Americanah has a small chance of winning, but it took me forever to get a copy and I have only good things about it.
All of the books seem great, so win win.
I still want to read The Rosie Project. I will probably read that one regardless of which book wins. I can still use it for my A-Z Challenge. :) I think Ten Tiny Breaths looks really good too. I've been having fun watching the top two leap frog. This is a nail biter!
What I like about Ten tiny breaths:- It fits perfectly the theme
- I already want to know what is the big secret and what will happen to the 2 girls and I ONLY READ the SUMMARY...
I know!! I keep checking on it and the top two have been so close and swapping places the whole time. I can't wait to see which book wins. :)
*whispers* Funny that we all have the same thought. hehe She must be doing a happy dance right about now. *whispers*
Both "Ten Tiny Breaths" and "The Orphan Master's Son" look so good! I went with "Ten Tiny Breaths", though I will likely read them both. Can't wait to see which book wins!
There is a BR for the Rosie Project which I will try and join. Americanah I wouldn't mind being nominated again
