Garrett Smith I think North Korea is a timely subject. I novel set there is of particular interest to us.

message 2: by Sarah (new)

Sarah I agree Garrett. It would be very eye opening. I think it would be great to learn and discuss. The author was let into this country which is very shut off from the rest of the world, and even though it is fiction it is a well researched book.

Michael New here so a quick hi all.
I Read The Orphan Master's Son earlier this year and it is wonderful book and deserving of it Pulitzer.
I know Americanah has a small chance of winning, but it took me forever to get a copy and I have only good things about it.
All of the books seem great, so win win.

- It fits perfectly the theme
- I already want to know what is the big secret and what will happen to the 2 girls and I ONLY READ the SUMMARY...
