I put Letters Never Sent up, cause I loved it. And I want people to read it. So there.

Aww, I was going to be mum and kick off the "why I nominated a book" fandango (seeing as I actually got off my arse and nominated one this month!)

I put The Murder Wall forward, just because it came up on the Polari Prize longlist, and when we covered the nominees over on the UK LesFic site it sounded like the one that was most up my street. It's had mixed reviews on here (the two sequels are actually better rated) but I found it cheap so thought I'd give it a go! It's not really likely to win but if it's any good, I'll let you know :-)

I put up Wedding Bell Blues - again - because I'm in the mood for something light and funny. And I liked it a lot. So there.

I put up step in to the wind, because haven't read anythig by Bev yet and she seems like one of the most kindest people ever! Her posts on FB and her shows on cocktail hour are just full of good energy! :D plus the FB posts between Nikki and Bev are CUTE! :P

I put up Scars because not only is it a great story about dealing with abuse and bullying, but it has a lovely YA lesbian romance. Such a wonderful book, I'd love more people to read it.

I'm happy it's just platonic because your mom would be jealous.

I nominated Tell the Wolves I'm Home. It was recommended by a friend and it sounds good. So I thought why not suggest it for botm.

no matter what ends up the botm, I will be reading a few from this list.

I put up Grand Theft Equine because it was funny and sexy and had multiple awesome lead characters I wish I knew in real life and great villains and enough things to call bullsh!t on that it will make for a fun conversation.

I'm torn. I want to vote for The Murder Wall because Northumbria, but I also want to vote for the ZOMBIE PROFESSOR.

We could buddy read the zombie professor if ya want.

I almost nominated Jericho myself, because it is one of my favorite books. Love the characterizations and especially the dialogue. But I didn't nor did I vote for it, because I assume most people have already read it. So for the moment, I voted for Tell the Wolves I'm Home. Normally I read light stuff, but this one may be an exception. However, I may have to re-read Jericho for the umpteenth time when I'm done.

Crap, I voted for step in to the wind but I really want to read letters never sent because I loved Sandra on the cocktail hour podcast :) so I'm buying both any way :D

I'll be the canary for The Murder Wall and let y'all (that's just for NJ) know whether it's any good or not.
