I was trying to save you the stress. But we can play it by ear. Or open up another nomination thread for the alternate series. Whatever you want to do is cool with me.
I tried reading the first book of the black company, twice, maybe ill succeed the third time around but it's going to be rough.
Please, gods above, don't make me read the Sword of Truth again. I love the first many books, but the last three just absoultely kill be.Gene Wolfe for KING! I haven't read this series yet, but its been on my list.
it's all good sandra...les stress is always good
there are a couple series here that I wouldn't do ( you can probably guess which ones)but there are a lot that would be good too

Way too many good choices. I voted for the series I nominated but I would not be disappointed if any of a half dozen of those choices won.
Hopefully BOTNS can emerge as the candidate for the united 'short and interesting' party, against the behemoths...
Darn, the one series I've already read is leading (though only by one vote!), and as much as I enjoyed it the first time, reading something again vs. reading something new, I always choose something new because there's just so much out there I want to read. Look forward to seeing the outcome of this *and* the alternate series! Very exciting.
well this is the first round. so we will have a run off of the top couple choices
I voted for Rai-Kirah -the first book was my first 5 star in a while! I am very excited to read the rest of the seriesTransformation

Will be interesting to see how Amber fares in a runoff.
I also voted for Rai-Kirah, really looking forward to reading that series, fingers crossed maybe it will be the alternate??

If any more series are seconded this week (between March 10th and March 15th), I will update this poll to include them.
This poll will remain open for one week and the final run-off poll will begin immediately following the conclusion of this poll.
Thank you for all the great suggestions.
