Every now and then I just skip the whole nominations/polling thing, maybe we should just set Robopocalypse for the December book and see who participates. Also since everyone will be so busy Nov/Dec it might not be a bad idea for everyone to have a lot of advance notice...
Thinking about it... (then again the poll isn't over yet).

I kind of like the nominations and poll! I know someone really wanted This Is Not a Test and I think that one has been in the running longer than Robopocalypse.
Although maybe for December, we could consider The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror by Christopher Moore since it is a Christmas zombie book. I don't think it will ever go on sale but you can get a used copy or check it out at the library. Too bad we couldn't get the publisher to donate a bunch of them for your giveaway thing.
Best quote from The Stupidest Angel- "Your puny worm god weapons are useless against my superior Christmas Kung Fu." The character didn't take her meds...
OMG! They're making it into a movie!

I can always just do a "Read With Me" discussion of Robopocalypse, alongside the club read if it's something else. We did that once before and it was ok.

That sounds fun. I would do that with you.
