These have all been suggested by members here at YLTO. If you want clarification, I hope those members can do so, because I'm not sure exactly what they were thinking about.

One book I do plan on nominating for the human language/ evolution theme, if it wins, is Adam's Tongue: How Humans Made Language, How Language Made Humans.

Bear in mind we'll collect nominations for titles, then run another poll or two to get a short-list of 2-4 books, including at least one fiction and at least one non-fiction, which we then discuss both separately and together.
